Another wonderful poet to read! Thank you Julie. And the grace and beauty of your life unfolds in these words of bravest truth. Embracing one’s grace, however it unfolds this day, is the gift I will carry into my precious life this day. Blessings ~ Shannan
Yes, a beautiful poem with such a lovely story. My spirit is similar to yours Julie as I try to find some peace and focus toward what type of love and grace He calling me to during this Advent season. I continue to listen with gratitude for all holiday blessings.
So much in this post resonating with me these days...and the mental image of the dog eating the Bible and book flashed me back to the day I came home to find our dog had eaten Genesis, Psalms, and Revelation out of my Bible. I could only wonder how she landed on beginning, middle, and end! Stay curled up on the couch as long as you need. I intend to do some of that myself today.

Thanks Shannan. Hope you have a beautiful day.
Thanks once again, Julie! Lying under blankets on the couch, staring at lights on the tree... so me, too, right now... yes.
Sometimes it’s the best place to be.

That's so funny, SarahLee. Ours was much more indiscriminate chewing.
