The day after Thanksgiving is a conundrum for me. I’m not a big Black Friday shopper, but I do appreciate a good deal. I’m not ready for full-on Christmas mode, but it would be nice to decorate while family members are home to help. Mostly I want to pay attention to whatever moments of gratitude I’ve experienced and have more of them. Maybe you do too.
Here are seven days of gratitude prompts, to help us both stay focused on what matters. I put these together last year, so they may be a repeat for some of you. But just like the best holiday food, a good prompt is delicious year after year.
Use them however you like: Write to one a day for the coming week. Use one per week during the upcoming holiday craziness. Skip around and use what jumps out at you. Use the little icon below to share this post with someone who might appreciate gratitude prompts.
I’m grateful for you today!
"I’m not ready for full-on Christmas mode,...Mostly I want to pay attention to whatever moments of gratitude I’ve experienced and have more of them." My sentiments exactly! Thanks so much for this gift today, Julie, exactly what I most needed and when I most needed it. I can't think of anything better to help me move toward Advent with a truly grateful heart.
