Powerful poem, Julie. I was in the grocery store the other day thinking about this too — how an ordinary day can suddenly turn into a nightmare, with bombs dropping from the sky. I had to stop and take a moment to say a prayer for everyone in harm's way.

Awful to think that others might personally experience that nightmare while in their own grocery stores. Praying along with you.

Exactly my thought too, Julie. People going about their day like I am and devastated in a second. 🙏

We belong to them

and they belong to us.

Julie, Wow! what a powerful poem. The words illicit the emotions or actions associated with them. I am still closing my eyes and consoling my mind and heart. I have to believe that my hope, grace and upliftment of love will somehow be enough. Is it? Clearly not, but maybe there is something else I need to look for… hmmm.

Thank you,

JoAnne

Isn't it odd that we have to keep saying this over and over and over again? It is so basic.

Thank you for this post and poem.

It is, isn't it? Thanks for reading.
